Investigation of the Dynamics of Magnetic Nanoparticles for Targeting and Probing the Microenvironment of Cancerous Cells and Tissues

Huan Li received the B. Eng. degree in engineering mechanics and the M.S. degree in solid mechanics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Professor K Jimmy Hsia in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has co-authored three papers at Illinois, two in PNAS and one in JMPS. He was MechSE Larson Awardee in 2008. His research interests include solid-liquid interactions in micro- and nanoscale structures and devices.
